Flood Victims Warned of Rogue Trader Menace

Helpimflooded.co.uk is urging victims of the summer floods to be on alert to the growing risk posed by rogue builders offering to repair damaged properties – and warns that the cost of rectifying botched building work could top £2 billion*.

Although the summer floods have long since subsided, the time it takes for properties to properly dry out means that most homes are only now ready for repairs to begin. As a result, homeowners across the UK can expect a sudden surge in the demand for builders – an opportunity which rogue repairmen will want to exploit!

Click on the links to the left and get advice on spotting a rogue trader, help on how to get repairs completed hassle-free and a handy jargon-buster to get you through conversations with your builder.
